I want to buy computers, but I cannot find any suppliers who want to deal with a letter of credit. I think I would be screwed if I did the money transaction any other way. Am I right? What countries have cheap name brand computers? Any suggestions on which companies to use?

Couldn't have said it any better than that Wilhelm.  If you have a distributor of name brand computers in your country this to is where the retailers are getting their supply.  If you buy in sufficient quanity you to can get the reduced pricing the retailers do and save your self the headaches from paying for the things that Wilhelm outlines above.

Replying to [cola2842002]: Firstly, why do you want cheap computer? If it is for personal use, you need to lists down what you really want before buying any computer. Do some research on the varies brands & model what are their functions, etc... before buying one.

I also agreed the cheap place to buy computer is in your country.
