From your post it sounds like you are an agent for overseas buyers. You mention that you can help smooth the process. If so, e-mail me and perhaps we can try to do some business.

Replying to [Business in China]:My supplier in China could not be more professional, contentious, diligent, fair, and a very good communicator.
I have been very (surprisingly) happy with the service from her. I was very
careful with my choice, spending 6 months to decide. It has been well worth
the time.

michael, sorry to hear about your deals. but, i may add to it. i am in china now since last 4 years. it had been like this to my customers, who would complaint from africa and india that quality is this and that, the goods shipped is inferior and money ........ripped of twice etc.

with experience, i learned that for any general merchandising business, the best way is to visit china. shortlist the factories, identify and than visit them personally. business done on website, or emails or online --- will end up like this only. i am so sorry for you. but, like I do, electronics and furnitures, my i insists my customers come to china, stay in china for 10 days and we simply visit the factories. the expert will come to know with whom they will deal.

but electronics is again such a subject, that even the inspections require the knowledge and subject understanding. so next time you can be more vigilant and alert in deals. however, there are good comapnies in china also.

my experience says that you will find a kind of company for you with right quality and right pricing. its a matter of rigerous search and hunt. by the way, i am from india and still at times duped and dumped by the suppliers. but i try to be extra alert.

Replying to [Business in China]:subject to the side of the coin you find your self.
the best is to find an honest partner to do your business for you. However it will be better if you can do LC instead ofTT as usually demanded by the Chinese .The fact remains that most of the trading companies on website are individuals or are themselves middle men who may not be trusted with big $ as they may suddenly disappear.God save you.
