Re: 5. How to check your Supplier before ordering
Replying to [Rizzob]: Hi, I know that professional buyers use www.sourcingreview.com to review suppliers and share their sourcing experience. For me, serious chinese suppliers can be checked on sourcing review. It's like www.tripadvisor.com (or Ebay), to rate china manufacturers or china suppliers ;) Anyone having other website reference (on the buyer side) to share best sourcing experience?? Tks and Bye

Can anyone please give me some insight as to whether or not they seem legitimate? They sent me a Business Certificate in Chinese, the only thing I could understand was the number.

I have no idea what "Local Authorities" to contact to verify this info. No one ever provides any info on these forums about how to contact these mysterious "Local Authorities" in China.

I've already Googled them but I haven't found anything too useful. I only have their business certificate that they provided, but no way of verifying it. Also, I verified the information in the Domain Name goes with the information they provided on the website.

Why would a legitimate company use hotmail or gmail?? They can't afford an actual company email address?

Please let me know. Thank you in advance!

Re: 5. How to check your Supplier before ordering
Replying to [Rizzob]:What do we do when we check up the existance of the company and there physical existence and everything. I have had a very bad experience in my first import from China. I had appointed a sourcing agent, Shenzhen Sunshow Sourcing Co.,LTD.
4th FL., Chaoshan Mansion, No.1036 South Dongmen Road,
Shenzhen, P.R.China P.C.: 518002, because wanted to import a variety of furnitures and outdoor umbrellas. They were fairly good in the beginning, able to source goods at fairly good price. Infact like a true sourcing agent also introduced me to some of the manufacturers. But now when they have despatched the goods after taking 30% advance payment, they are saying that they have not declared all the goods sent to us. This get us into a legal hassle with the Indian customs. Now that I shall not be able to clear the goods from the Indian customs, what are the modes of getting our advance back. And is there no legal action that we can take against this company for sending a wrong Bill of lading?

Re: 5. How to check your Supplier before ordering
Hi all,

I'm new to alibaba, so I'm doing my homework reading through numerous posts regarding scam companies from China.
However, I was unable to find any good/bad reviews of the King Tech company...

Here's the companies website on alibaba: http://kingtechmobile.en.alibaba.com/aboutus.html

Here's the contact person and the info on the company I received from them:

Torres Tang
KING TECH
www.zeronegroup.com.cn
Trade manager: cn200020672
MSN:elves5201985@yahoo.com.cn
e-mail:torrestang@yahoo.cn
Tel.: +86-755-89395043
Mobile: +86-13714643141 or +86-13266720136

Their company seems to produce their own brand of cell phones. Has anyone had any experience with them?

What I did so far:

Their website seems credible.

Whois data for website seems kinda ok (registrant organization is Kingtach, though):
http://www.whois.org/whois_new.cgi?d=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zeronekt.com&tld=com

Phone # seems to be a landline, and cell phone # is actually cell #.
No fax, though..

If you have any experience with them, I'd appreciate the input.

Regards,
Mate

Re: Re: Re: Re: How to self-check your Chinese supplier
Quoting from [mrmicey]:

I am too new to alibaba. Looking for supplier of TomTom Go GPS systems and Console games. There seem to be lots and lots of them offering products at less than 1/2 price of what they'd sell in the North American market. Problem is they all want to be paid with Western Union (I wonder why ?), no credit card payment whatsoever accepted, no paypal. That's pretty scary, I'd say. All of them are giving hotmail or yahoo accounts. If they're so legit, why not give your ISP e-mail ? Has anyone actually established a good working relationship with any Asian country supplying the above ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are no tom tom in China. they are replica not real. I have a dozen to sell you. Knockoffs I got scammed on.

Don't do it!!!!!
