Have you contacted buyers bank? and did you get a down payment on the load?  In the case of D/P its good to go with 30% T/T in advance with 70% Cash against Documents.  By insisting on the 30% you can weed out many of the would be scam's.  By scam I mean you are contacted by one company to send load via D/P but never recieve payment.  Three weeks later another company from same country contacts you about the same kind of load.  You dont want to loose all your money so you discount the load 25%.  GOLDSTAR, a member of this board has written some topic's on this issue as well as others.  Please do a forum search for D/P and you will find other answers as well.   I hope ultimatley that your deal is successful.[em15]

Best regards,

Ranger

If you do not know the buyer, why did you agree to D/P terms? As Ranger said, there are plenty of posts in this forum regarding the risks involved in such payment terms.

I feel sorry for you and I truly hope that it works out for you. Also, I would suggest that you talk to somebody in or near Chennai to check out your buyer.

Good luck!

As I know, the Indian buyers always bargain for lowest price which will make suppliers can't do or little margin! [em4]
