hi my name is Tom and i want to buy/sell Nike sneakers. i know alot of ppl do it but were i live most ppl pay like 125 dollars for Air Jordans and about 90 dollars for Air Force Ones, and if i was to sell sneakers i would make a killing every month. but here is the thing. when i figure out what i want to do, I read on how to go about it, and what drop ship is and distributors and things like that. and they want a range from 40-45 for Jordans and from 30-35 for AF1's. The funny part is, most ppl say they are wholesalers and thats the wholesale price but it dosent sound right. I really dont want a middle man but the way it looks i might not have a choice because I have been researching for monthes on finding a legit wholesaler or distributor of nike products and i cant find one. Is there any way to find a lagit distributor or wholesaler to start my small business?

Replying to [NIke Tom]:Actually,it's a hard work to seek a legit wholesaler or distributor!Perhaps you could turn to NIKE compay, see if they could indicate someone to help you.I'm thinking they would like to inform you who are their legit distibutors or wholesalers. But maybe they need your authentic information.

Good luck!

That's the truth. You should contact official company. But I think it is not easy to become their official wholeselers.Otherwise, nobody will sell faking shoes.

Anyway, you can try first.

Replying to [NIke Tom]:Its very easy to sell fake items. When these are branded like nike etc. They have legitamate network around and thier base control the price for authentic original ones.
It depends what you are looking for or for originall distributors /wholesalers etc

my sister is working in nike company in dongguan and i know they don't export shoes in small volumn. And the legal sellers in china sel nike shoes at the same price as in usa. so it is not feasible to get geniune through retailling except you would like to pay high price. That's why there are so many fake in the market because true nike shoes are not profitable. If you want to sell real nike shoes, it is better to go with what the Nike company told you.

Replying to [Agrawal]: I very much agree. The profit pie can be cut many ways depending on the persons invited to share it. The internet is a huge global bazaar with endless opportunities for people who enjoy commerce and see it a little differently than the WalMart family, or I would hope. Not simply a profit bulldozer but a community where all deserve to make a living. I want to do business in this marketplace as I recently, on some crazy whim, refurnished whole house, top to bottom, windows to lawn chairs with ebiz purchases. What a cathartic experience. There are so many unique and exciting products out there. I would love to share some of them with the culture starved mall rats here in the US yet I cannot manufacture them. Should I not try? I am hoping the whole concept of dropshipping can help me trade and collect modest profit that I can reivest and grow a business with. I cannot warehouse much (yet) or risk capital outlay for large inventory (yet). I am researching whether or not I can begin a small internet outlet and think the only way today is to work with a "middleman". Granted, one who has some vision and taste would be ideal! The internet is the only place big enough to showplace and trade it all. Visitors here must have had some lofty ideas about why they would become merchants or manufacturers once. Be kind to those of use who are not yet the hardened experts (yet) or at least tolerate the uninitiated dreamers who stumble around in cyberspace. Peace!
