But what is signature, its is a way to express who you are or your Identity away from others, is it a problem for us to let people know our ID or our doing? its not formal advertisement. its just a mark. or just a word. I think its free for write anything for signature. its people thought and idea. should not be limited. for example, if I limite your name, how will you think of it ?
Well, if I am sealed and punished without any warning, I will definitely no longer go to alibaba forums again in my rest life.I am Chinese. if Chinese fight with Chinese for such small items, its not a wisdom company or not a generous website.
Lucky, nothing happen until now due to I never post any selling leads for contact details for the offical posting content.

God bless

I agree with your statement. But in the terms of Alibaba rules, we cannot differ such exception. If you both from China it doesn't mean only China people can break Alibaba rules. Rules are rules, it has its objective meaning not by the subject. or else it just a legitimation and everyone can do the same. Then there won't be any rules.

If you haven't been prohibited by Alibaba because of this breaking rules, sure is the rules were only some kind of guide lines rather than formal rules.

The reason i mentioned the advertisement that we were talk about is, honestly i would love to do the same as you do [em3] . I am just afraid the rules may get more strict and they won't allow me for further accessing this forum nor Alibaba website for the penalty.

Right now, i am also curious by using html code in forum post. as you see my animated signature. are they forbid this too?.

Anyway, good luck for you and your business. [em20]

Sir,

It is true that Rules Get Things Done!

But do the rules state in this forum perfect?

[em24]

To tell the truth, I don't think so....

Eagle,
The rules are quite specific about having advertising in your posts. They are NOT allowed... The moderators have discussed this with Alibaba on a number of occaisions regarding the signature line also.. The concensus is that members should NOT have email addresses or web addresses in their signature line.

This is most definately advertising, and is likely to be treated as such in the forums.

The reason is quite simple, you are abrogating the agreement with Alibaba. Alibaba is a company who runs a B2B website with rules and conditions in place. To enable Alibaba to stay in business they must be able to make money... That simple.... If there were NO fees of any kind then Alibaba would be bankrupt within weeks.

With that in mind, it is repectfully requested that you change your signature line.

The Japanese people say, 97% of the world map marks' Sea of Japan ' so give up. But Korean people say, 3% of the world map marks ' East Sea'so we will start fighting. It doesn't take even 20 seconds to turn this. Just sacrifice a little time. Let's show the power of the Korean netizen to Japan//
