Free members on the overall ranking

Hello everyone!
What do you think about the participation of the free members in Alibaba's overall ranking?
There's just few gold members there and I wonder why. And I just noticed now the difference between gold supplier member and thustpass member. I'm looking for more information about it.
Do we can upgrade to thustpass member and later gold supplier or anythign like this?

Replying to [terrabrazil]: Gold members can only be registered in China or Hong Kong which is still China, so unless your company is based in China you have no hope in * of being a gold Member.
A Trustpass member is just a Free member who was foolish enough to pay for something that means less than the paper its written on.
Its a mere background check which anyone can do for a small fee.
We are free members and would only subscribe to Gold if we had an office in China but thats just because we would then be able to get around the unfair advantage situation that is happening right now with Alibaba's Gold Member policies.
Read the forums, there are numerous cases of fraud from Gold members, so don't be fooled into buying into Trustp *.

However, I don't think it's fair to judge TrustPass membership like this. Actually, TrustPass membership is quite similar to Gold Suppliers, which is provided to companies outside of China only. Eecept for the third company's verification, TrustPass member can also enjoy some ranking benefits.
