Replying to [sivaras]: Yeah if you want to be liable for the products you are selling on ebay website.. As several times there are bad deals.. once your product is dead, you name gets bad.. you can get the guarantee from the factory and can take liability for faulty products you are selling on Ebay..

First you should discuss the subject with your supplier(s), maybe they are interested in offering a warranty.
If you can not get an agreement that matches the degree of warranty you wish to offer you shuold talk to an (several) insurance company(s).
My experience says that you should try several as some may just rip off your profit (e.g. 5% of your turnover).
Depending on your product and profit margin you should consider if it's not more affordable to cover the warranty yourself. You should at least buy insurance to cover lawsuit expenses.

Hey guys, this topic is not about "warranty" (where a faulty product is merely replaced for the consumer).

Please don't talk about "warranty" here.

Sivaras, asked an important question about Product Liability Insurance (where consumers can sue for $milions when negligent design or manufacture of the product causes injury or damage to consumers).

Sivaras, I'm also looking for best price product liabiity insurance for stuff in Australia.

Replying to [sivaras]:Several insurance companies i contacted have not bothered to reply probably because i am too small and they are only interested if the deal size goes above 1 million. My chinese supplier is definitely not interested to tell me. They are prepapred to replace defective goods but not accept product liability.
If one has success with any insurance companies do let me know.

Sivaras, I wonder if your Chinese supplier will agree to:

1. Warrant that the products are free of any design and/or manufacturing fault that might cause harm or injury to a user.

2. Indemnify you against any claim for negligent design and/or manufacture.

3. The laws of both your own country and China applying to this agreement.

You will recognize that you may then be able to join the supplier in any action commenced against you for the causes you have in mind.

Replying to [sivaras]:From a previous manufacturing and service background I would think it important to carry a product Liability Insurace for items sold on Ebay. In the event of any damage caused by a product covering one's self would be most important. Your personal assets would not be lost due to a damages claim.

Although, a product liability might be available from the manufacture.

Better to be covered in any event just to protect oneself.

Replying to [sivaras]: That is why trading as a limited liability company has its definite advantages. So i intend to trade as private limited company if the transactions reaches any scale. Thanks for the answers
