Yes, I appreciate your efforts to inform us -as BUYERS - , but WHY all chinese company did not accept this type of commerce?

They want / agree only Wester Union or T/T Telex Transfer - WHY not L/C - both parts will take their rights after their job will be done.

Is there someone to answer at my Question?

Thank you in advance! [em17]

You can open credit on your TC name, or make separate LC's.

Replying to [Camy]:I wonder the same thing Camy, most car exporters like ourselves in Japan tend not to use L/C's either. It seems the biggest reason is it takes time to confirm everything. We prefer a close relationship with the client and with all of the time it takes in checking and double checking of the paperwork supplied by a potential "partner", could be a sign of lack of trust. TT or Western Express is fast and effective but demands trust.

Replying to [MikePTY-HK]: Great job, Mike ! i am sure it will help all of us. However, I have a question regarding the LC Type. As you mentioned, if it is Sight LC then Issuing Bank makes the payment immediately. What are the other types of LC's and how the payment time changes.
Thanks !!
