I would like to ask you to resolve my doubt on MFPA. My question is as follows (seller pays commission):

The seller's bank will be only instructed from seller to pay commission to intermediaries. Is it possible in principle that the seller annuls the instruction and/or deny the payment?

The seller will provide all beneficiaries with written evidence of the pay orders lodged with its bank. Is the instructed bank responsible for the payment of commission even though the seller annuls the instruction?

Is there any method to prevent an annulment of the seller basically? I guess it will be an alternative if the seller transfers the payment to the bank and the bank itself gurantees the payment bindingly to the intermediaries. Would it be possible?

Hi,

I'm just venturing into the garment trade biz. i have this huge buyer in Middle East who just wants me to deliver the consignment to Mumbai-he has all the licenses reqd to take over from there.

I want to know what kind of licenses i need to start this biz? How does the commission system work? How do I protect my interests? What is MFPA?

Please revert.

Thanks

Hi there:

I am an intermediary and also new at this trade biz. Can someone provide me with the necessary documentation I will need in order to protect and receive my commission?  Ej:  MFPA, Bank Pay Order, etc.. If I want a Bank Pay Order or an LC, do I just ask the seller for it?

Thank you.
