Replying to [iulianap]: The safest way to protect your commission is by Transferable L/C, where you or your company are the first beneficiary of the L/C, and you transfer it to the seller in less amount. As for the other methods, Pay Order, Standing Instruction, etc, no other third party can guarantee the same reliability as a transferable L/C the bank does.

Replying to [Tensky International]: Any Seller who accept Unconditional B/G or Unconditional SBLC is a scammer. What if the goods doesn't reach you on time? The payment, which is your money, will be remitted by the bank at the stipulated date anyway. Read carefully the seller's own "verbiage" of the BG/SBLC and you'll see what I really mean about them being a scammer.

Replying to [swamypr]:
Dear Sir/ Madam, I am doing services as intermediate for a seller and a buyer. Now the seller in his terms talks about a MFPA as one of the first steps in the procedure. Later he mentions again the MFPA (after buyer has signed the contract MFPA appendix signed by from sellers bank). The seller gives commission of 1 US$ / mt. Buyer agrees to me to pay 6 US$ /mt above the offered prize by seller.
My questions to you:
1. who & what are the paymasters?
2. which amount goes into the MFPA?

Hope for your swift answer.
