I have exprerienced fraud by Mr. JINJIAN LIN of SHANGHAI YAJIN ELECTRONIC and Mr. ZHIYAO WU a.k.a. TEDDY of PUTIAN JIAYI TRADE CO. I am trying to reach your online help but unfortunately it's always been busy or cannot be contacted. I order and pay them the cheaters for an ORIGINAL Nokia N95 mobile phone but they sent me a COPY of Nokia N95 which is NOT what we have talked about. I trust them because they are GOLD SUPPLIERS and TRUSTPASS MEMBERS as labeled in your website. I can supply you with any further details if it's needed to prove my allegations. Hope that ALIBABA will BANNED from this website for life these FRAUDS/LIARS/CHEATERS because it will RUIN/DESTROY the reputation of ALIBABA Community as well as the CHINESE COMMUNITY. Because of these SCAMMERS who take advantage of the trust that innocent buyer gave them, good, honest Chinese Suppliers are also badly affected.

Based on the information on Alibaba.com I contacted a manufacturer.
The name, address, registration details are Authenticated and Verified.
I ask for specifications and prices of the products. I get a reply form a hotmail account with a name that does not have similarity with the manufacturers name. I want to order samples first and ask for a proforma invoice of the sample order.
The Proforma Invoice I get, is in the name of some IMPORT & EXPORT CO.,LTD in China, with completely different name&address details.
This clearly is not the same as advertised on Alibaba.com
This is not the first time.
Other Chinese Alibaba.com sellers have tried the same trick.
Can you explain why a company would advertise itself as a manufacturer with one set of name&address details and trade as an Import-Export trader with a completely different name&address, and still be Authenticated and Verified on Alibaba?

some country doesn't have the opportunity to use escrow services like Indonesia. So this point doesn't meet most of the general trader. Perhaps you can provide me another sample except L/C..
5. Negotiate with your partner about transaction details, such as solutions for damaged products, inferior products, delayed delivery etc. If you didn’t sign a written agreement, you should keep email records as evidence in cases where trade disputes occur.
A Note for damaged product returns. What would be the disadvantages for sellers of giving the guarantee such 1 to 1 replacement or for reducing the freight cost with an extra free items within the same shipment (for perishable goods). that would be against being a good seller point of your note describing scammers characteristics. The low price not always as subject to determine scammers. Some seller able to take the low profit risk
6. Protect yourself against poor quality by ordering a pre-shipment inspection of the products. You can demand the inspection as a condition to payment.
What would be the guarantee of this if the seller was in overseas? but i guess your 7th point has provide this lack of protection. Product Samples

If I should have further business dealings with any overseas suppliers again after my really bad experience with a Chinese company I will make sure that I do this through Alibaba and NOT Global Sources. Since I have received my really inferior prouducts despite doing all the checks etc they have not assisted me at all.
The verifications they say the company have adhered to mean diddly squat. I did not pay the cheapest price at all but got the worst quality.
The fact you have forums and offer assistance is really invaluable to people wanting to deal with foreign companies.
