Replying to [Admin]:[em4] Most China sellers insist on TT in advance before production. What financial guarantee seller can give for refund of TT in case of shipment failure? Refund of TT thru litigation is too lenghty. Do China banks give PBG against 1005 LC at sight? This is a big concern for new buyers.

Replying to [Orix International]:yes, we can understand your mind about the first T/T as you the new buyer.

In business, I prefer to T/T, because it is less costly and easier to deal with the documentary than L/C.

But if the clients insist on L/C, I accept L/Cs too.

Most of the Chinese supplier assure you that we will produce and deliever the goods in good conditions.

Don't worry, friend, place a trial order and get more information about your partners.

Everything will be ok!

Letter of credit is the suitable payment system for import/export transactions. ther you can impose conditions. But as you said getting the advance and if the shipment is delayed., or something happenening out of our control., there are many litications. so  LC is the besthod payment system

Replying to [curdrice]:

Now our China sellers are realising the importance of PBG against LC and some have already given PBG. This is most comforting. A serious and competent seller will not hesitate to give PBG.
