On various threads, there are people suggesting that you shouldn't get MVP's for one word responses, or just emoticon responses.

That led me to the thought - why not get rid of them altogether? Yes, they are fun to use, but it is more professional to use the actual words you are meaning, rather than inserting symbols. It will also be a great way for many of the users to practise their English, if they want to of course.

It's fun to use emoticons, but one word responses just to earn MVP shouldn't be encouraged. Perhaps the moderators can do someting about this.

The purpose of forums in Alibaba is to communicate/interact, and what better way than to actually express ourselves in at least a couple of sentences.

If emoticons are deleted altogether I some members may get . Anyway you did by bringing up this topic.
