Outdoor furniture constructed with teak wood is a favorite among consumers due to the beauty and durability of the individual pieces. For this reason, a wide variety of outdoor furniture is made using teak ranging from teak Adirondack chairs to classic, formal furnishings.

Teak, a hard strong durable yellowish-brown wood, grows in the region of Southeast Asia and is harvested from the surrounding forests and teak plantations by the locals. The wood of the teak tree is naturally resistant to insects, warping, splintering and the elements, which makes it an ideal wood for creating furniture.

Dear Uni

Teak has been mentioned in one of Indian language "Tamil" literature some 2500 years ago. So it could not have been brought from South America. Also teak is a tropical tree and will not relish temperate climate of the west. Naturally the western sailors should have used Pine and Oak for ship building. We have records on literature+ coins+stone inscriptions mentioning the trade with the west thousands of years ago. Only in the medieval period they lost the route and might have tried again. May be, some of the far east might have received teak plantation lately as you describe.

If you could quote the literature of 'Tamil' it would be great.
And the latest far east got it after the expedition of Zheng He, Marcopolo etc.
the American Latin forest that I mean are surround the Amazone River,
Maya, Aztec, Macu pichu, Indian in South America.
Whilst in India itself, I wonder is it having conjunction with 'Kalpa tharu' ?
the icon tree in India myth?

Kalpataru is mythological wish tree offering all items. Many people try to relate this to many trees and no conclusion yet.

Thanks for the source Chap,  will have a look in it.

What in India's word, the meaning of  Jati = jathi ?
in Indonesia, it means as the truth= real = original.

The Java's Ancestor namely Prabhu Aji Sakha= Ajisaka = Ajisoko
is the King who had civilized the tribes aprox in 400 years After Christ.
During his rule,  He gave us  Javanese  language 'Ha Na Ca Ra Ka" (20 letters)
and the Moon Calender. 'Chandra Sang kala'
