Hello Everyone,

I want to know few things.I am planning to start a business of sarees and dress material for shalwar kameez in pakistan so want ideas and advice actually I want to buy/import sarees etc from India but I wont be able to invest much so my quantity will be 200-250 peices not more than that so I have two options for it.First option is I personally go to Mumbai (India) and visit wholesale markets and buy stuff from there and then come back and sell them in my shop but problem here is if I put all the stuff in my baggage so will indian customs allow me to carry so many peices?will they charge me duty etc?or should I find any supplier here who can provide me stuff here? the second option is Importing sarees and dress material from India to pakistan but i dont know anything about import export and my quantity will be less so dont know what should I do??I heared that many people in pakistan are getting stuff from Dubai so anyone know about it??and one more thing some told me to get the stuff from india through courier service like local post?I am really confused about this and need help.waiting for your opinion.Looking forward for reply

Replying to [mehro]: Hi I personally think that you shouldn't carry them back yourselves. Find the suppliers and get samples from different ones. Evaluate the price and check the transport charges with them. If they can't provide, ask people around you who knows of a transporter who provide reliable service and reasonable price. It's important as you will probably stay with one transporter for a while.
