Replying to [Easylife]:I do not know why you prefer to choosing trade company. But a company who owns his factory is much better.

its really problem sometimes to cooparate with chinese factories on import process, its impossible to communicate with you by the way, and there would be more problems about documentation, its much more time better to cooparate with trading companies.

Replying to [Easylife]:I agree with you to some extent. The services that trading companies provide may be better. But price factor is important and aslo trust between each other. It depends in a large part on your trust. Many buyers fail to work with the trading companies because they worry about the loss,in this case, they could not get the compensation easily. If there happens a large amount of money loss, the trading company especially for those small ones can not pay back.
From another angle it is helpful to disperse the risk.suppose one sourcing company pin their all business on one supplier, what will happen if the serious quality problems are found .They must transfer to another supplier, and it will be more convenient with a trading comany helping with all the issures.

Replying to [Easylife]:The summit I think for domestic businessmen reach is to deal with all kinds of products available in our markets. It is very difficult and will need a long time, maybe five or ten years is needed. If this happened,he/she would start their own trading company and they were right the bosses certainly.Generally speaking they show great profession on several main lines and have good communicating skills and very influent in English or others.
When the customers come, they could complete all the task well.
Hope there will come out many such guys that helps to join the international competition

Although the situation is getting better day after day, there are some rooms to improve . Generally when dealing with a Chinese company they are reluctant when it comes to credit for its customers . Sometimes by just offer a lower price it is not interesting for importers to pay T/T in advance or Confirmed L/C at sight . Chinese companies are competing with American and European suppliers who are generous in payment terms to its customers . I've experienced a few cases where the importer prefferred to pay more and deal 90 days or more from B/L date . Credit evaluation offices like Dunn & Bradstreet are based in China and in some other countries in Asia . Almost every importer has a credit information linked to this company . What I have recently experienced is that a lot of Chinese companies don't run the credit reputation to their customers just because they stick on Advance payment or L/C . I truly believe that is one of the main causes for the lack of trust between Chinese exporters and its customers .
