Replying to [Admin]:[em19] One of this method is referred to in Nigeria as The Advance Fee Fraud. These Fraud sters are gradually being caught up with by The Body called (EFCC). those involved are referred to as Yahoo Boys because they stay on the Internet overnight to trap innocent biz men. So another telltale sign is to check if the Nigerian time of their email is overnight. Victory is ours [em20]

Just because they have SSL (https) does not mean they are legitimate, it just means that your credit card information is less likely to end up in the hands of any third parties. But when the receiver is a crook it's of course not going to matter either way. This particular site is a scam, and there are several people who have complained about them already:

Replying to [Admin]:I once had a potential buyer also from Nigeria. They sent two internaional money orders. I was to take out money for the cost of my product and send the remainning balance back to him via weastern union. I went to my bank to deposit the funds. First I asked if they could verify that the checks were legit. After several phone calls, the check turn up bad. Fortunetly, I inquired before I spent and sent.

As far as Scammers are concerned, I usually mark them as Junk mails, esp those containing provocating words such as "million dollars", "life is at risk", "commission", and what not do they write to attract innocent victims.
My personal advise > the moment you come across such mails, the very first thing you do is , MARK IT AS JUNK, BLOCK it , and DELETE it, for good, and peace of mind. Thats all.

With best wishes & regards to all Members of Alibaba & its entire team for - A PROSPEROUS, HEALTHY, WEALTHY, & EVENTFUL - CHINESE NEW YEAR 2007.
