Replying to [Admin]:[em19] One of this method is referred to in Nigeria as The Advance Fee Fraud. These Fraud sters are gradually being caught up with by The Body called (EFCC). those involved are referred to as Yahoo Boys because they stay on the Internet overnight to trap innocent biz men. So another telltale sign is to check if the Nigerian time of their email is overnight. Victory is ours [em20]

Replying to [Admin]: A great article for sure, however these guys have a new trick up their sleeve. The are also prepared for youto pay 40% now and 60% when u receive your goods, people all of this is a scam, belive me. I lost over $7000 with these and other payment methods. Thats why I have more than 10 agents in the east who check out "suppliers" and collect my orders and ship them to me and my buyer. my advice is this - make use of our service. We can get our agents to collect your order and you can pay us a small comms for saving you runaround.[em3]. Another tip - if it looks too good to be true it usually is.

This is really worth reading to warn the new business traders like me. Yes, i've been receiving similar e-mails like this one:

Quoting from the article:

The person who sent you the inquiry is insisting on large volumes ordered without even seeing a sample and just wants the Proforma Invoice sent so that they can get approval by their government. Do not believe this...They only want the Proforma Invoice to take your money!

I thought it was a big break for me as a new trader. But when i answered back the email, the reply was something like he's asking for commissions for the sales and said to direct me to a certain government agency to deliver the goods. Hence, it created doubts in me if this is a legitimate buyer. So, i cut the communications from then and he never inquire back too, maybe sensing i was already alarmed.

Thanks a lot for the Safe Trading Basics, we learn a lot as a newbee.

Great! Alibaba.com services!
