Congratulations and thanks a lot for your important support in this situation. The lot of nigerian scams received via alibaba let a very bad image of the hole country. That's why, lot of serious block messages coming form Nigeria and some other African countries. But, we really appreciate your golden suggestions.

Replying to [pilandros]:Hi pilandros,

You are correct that it is too good to be true. If they don't want to look at samples or test the product they are not real business men.

What they are doing is getting you to believe they are trying to send money to you for your product. Then they tell you that to receive your money you must pay a transfer fee or pay a fee to be certified by their government to do business with them. They want these fees before they transfer your money, this way they take what they can, usually $500 US to $5000 US, depending on the size of their supposed purchase. They sit around doing this to hundreds of people every day. So if only a couple actually send the money they still have a payday. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THEM, NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY!!!

In parts you are correct. I had one Nigeian company request a box of samples. I told him I would send one sample of each ordering product. He was not happy but said o.k. Then I told him that I would not send any fees to have the funds release by his bank. However, just before I send the Pro forma invoice he requested a fee of $600.00. I told him NO and we could no longer do business. I never heard from him again. Another thing to watch out for is to Not Put Your Banking Information On The ProForma Invoice. Have their bank contact your bank for transfer. This way your banker can verify if their bank is True. In Nigeria, people order in large bulk because either they are going to resell or to organization that are truly run by the official government. There are very poor nigerians but trust me the rich Nigerians out weight the poor ones. So take every transaction SLOWLY...they will try to rush you but remember you are in control...

Replying to [Cali Rugger]:Nigerian Government do require that products be register in their country before customs can release them. Therefore, you do need a registering number that is supplied by the NAFDA in Nigeria. However, DO NO SEND MONEY TO YOUR CLIENT IF THEY OFFER TO GE THE REGISTRATION NUMBER FOR YOU...you will never hear from them again...and you will be out of money... Contact the Nigerian Esbassy in your country for the correct procedures in obtaining the registering number. Good Luck
