Hi, we have been manufacturing candles in Central America for the past 20 years, and recently we had a request from a Nigerian company for export prices of 3 of our products.
We sent our quotation and got back a request for a Proforma Invoice and Banking details to make a funds transfer (we are selling and getting the money). So, you may ask, what is the problem? so they are ofering you to buy your products and to transfer the funds for that? The problem is... too good to be true. No samples? No testing? No obstacles? This sounds to me as a scam, but I can not figure out the way for this. I can only imagine that this might be the way for them to send illegal money out of the country (probably loundry money). I will appreciate your comments on this issue. Thanks in Advance.

[em19]You did a very good job. Please we need to let the world know that there are more honest Nigerians doing honest business to put food on their tables who are prepared to dupe anyone. And another important thing is that it is very difficult to cheat an honest and content person. Most people that fell prey to cheats were victims of their own greed. How on earth will anyone believe that someone will steal money from govt and tansfer it into your account a total stranger? Every man should turn down his greed quotient (GQ) and fraudsters will be out of business.

Replying to [Honest Nigerian]: Dear Sir! Thanks for useful information. You know in every country there're difficulties explained in your article. Your country-Nigeria-is only an example of unfair or honest business relationships. But in any way I think you did great in giving the audience such information and though goods from Nigeria are not rather popular in our country (I'm from Ukraine), you've done good and let other people know that you country also has a bright future and potential :)
