Certificate of Origin
Post 1 of 5
Dear Sirs,
Last month I had some problems with import some commodities to Europe.
My new Chinese partner doesnt issue the certificate of origin- Form A, claims that it is issued of a client wish only and that is a practise in China.
I cant belive his words, because lack of that document coused many difficulties for me (duty clearance).

I'm wondering how it is? Maybe some of my Chinese friends here tell me how it works?

Thank you
Regards
Martin

Hi! Usually if the customer didn't meantion FORM A .
the shipper will not supplying with this documents.
But I think that this is for new foreign trade people.
because they are not familar with those documents should be presented the customer on time.
so you can asking them to applying with the ENTRY-ENT inspection bureau as soon as possible.

Hi!

Fully agree with Stella Weng [em1]
It seems that Your supplier is playing with You.

Just push on them softly.

Good luck.

Poland is a relatively new and small market to China suppliers, and thus they may not aware that Form A is required. And it's not uncommon that suppliers just prepare documents as instructed by customers.

You could still ask your supplier to get the Form A for you, which could be issued retrospectively by the authentic organisation.
