It is not funny that majority of Chinese sales reps never sake permission to include our email addresses in their messenger contacts list.Very surprising and unexpectedly you will find someone already trying to communicate with you but when asked how they have come about the email contact address,there is no answer and very often their become angry(ignorance) when you insist to know the source of your email contact.I think this is far more primitive than even being ignorant.They cannot even introduce their business in the least professional manner but when you happened to find a smart Chinese sales rep,very interesting,friendly and business more business oriented.We understand that these sales reps often use a language to communicate which signifies intelligence for the bilingual ones but when it comes to business,some are just rubbish.More than 75% of them I have dealt with have not a got a clue on what is a business transaction that you never see your supplier.lol I quite remember one sales girl telling me this "sir we are a wholesale manufacturing company and we never send out any goods below $10.0000".So I asked her,"My dear how do u expect someone to spend that amount of money,when the person has not seen any physical goods you have manufactured.What about me buying some few samples?"lol
I think Chinese businesses need to re-educate their sales teams and employee primarily on how to approach online customers,how to present the company to customers and how to sell their goods to online customers.Selling will need to take into accounts pricing styles.
It recently came to my mind that,these sales reps quote goods depending from where the customer comes from.If you come from UK,EU,CANADA,USA to my best knowledge,you will be priced very high for same good that is being sold to someone from Syria for a lower price for some reasons.This is really sick and stupid because they are loosing plenty of business.I am quite sure these sales reps are not making any significant profits from online business at all because they don't even what to do.
