Dear Shufen jie,

I do not understand.

Chinese women are tough ... every bit as tough as men when it comes to business. Gees, Mao introduced the idea of "equality" to China 30 years before we Westerners understood what equality means between men and women.

I deal with more Chinese women than men every day in buying all different sorts of things from Chinese factories. In my experience Chinese women are better at business than men.

In my own family, my Chinese mother in law managed a huge jeep production factory. My Chinese sister in law in Beijing is one of the smartest, toughest and most successful business people I know ... she has made a fortune from construction, real estate and heavy industrial electrical stuff.

Most of my wife's Chinese girlfriends in China are in business for themselves ... some own clothing shops, some import western stuff and others are into anything that makes money ... if it makes money they do it. Sometimes I think their husbands would have nothing if these girls didn't get stuck into business.

And, Chinese women are the world's toughest money managers. Is there one home in China where the wife does not absolutely control the money ... far more so than in the West?

Gimmee a mainland Chinese women any day in business (or as a wife).

So, what do we do about you?

From what you said I think you are one of the good people of this world who "live to please other people". Look up the meaning of "assertive".

Draw a line people should not cross ... learn to say "No" ... learn to be assertive. Learn to say things other people might not like ... you must stop living just to please other people. That's how you get 888 in business.

Replying to [Shufen jie]:Do you like that Korea movie " Dachangjin"?
there are several thing worth to learn from "changjin"
1)never give up
2)endless learning
3)forgive & forget
4)focusing...
although something is difficult, but if we have "weapon" of "spirit", maybe all difficulties would gone..
