My name is Patrick Abotsi, I am Togolese, I graduated from Xiamen University, a Chinese university, major being international trade. I have years of experience in the IT sector in China. I have worked in the international marketing department for several Chinese firms, and now I have my own firm specializing in memory products, consumables and voip phones in Hong Kong.

I believe my understanding of both Chinese and international market places makes me an ideal candidate for a moderator position. I am very knowledgeable in international payment issues in Hong Kong and China. Beyond international trade, I have a great interest in the financial markets in Hong Kong and China. Moreover, I speak fluently english, chinese and french.

Hope to get some votes from you guys!

I am a 74 year old retired IBM salesman whose hobbies have evolved into several businesses.

Alibaba has been a great tool for me to learn how to deal with the problems of import/export and many other administrative problems dealing with setting up the jewelry manufacturing business such as oursourcing manufacturing to the Chinese, acquiring agents, developing marketing strategies, to name a few.

I am retired and have the time and the ability to help others and feel free to share experiences as I have nothing to lose but everything to gain from sharing.

It is stimulating to study the problems of setting up and running small enterprises and I wish to learn and share those experiences.

We are in a very interesting and challenging new world in which a book has been written called, "The World is Flat" which I recommend every one interested in today's market should read.

Alibaba should be written up in the next version of this book because they are "walking" the talk regarding making the world flat.
