Your advice is very much appreciated as I have recently had many offers from suppliers mainly from china and some from India and all have one thing in common which is they don't do Paypal!!! only Western Union and T/T....well what a surprise?

If it is illegal for China to sell branded merchandise then can you advise where we can source a reliable and trustworthy supplier who will sell legit and branded items not fakes and most importantly will not just take our money and never see them again.

One place i'd reccomend is the Hong Kong convention centre, they have
trade fairs there all the time, its the primary source for anything
coming out of china. The shows run for several months at a time, going
from electrical to household, to industry and back to electrical in a
sort of cycle throughout the year. You can buy electronic gadgets from
the smaller factories in lesser volumes as an individual, but the big
players probably wont even speak to you if you're just an individual
and not a chain store or something. All business is done in person,
take some business cards with you and get your bowing sorted
out and pop over to hong kong when one of the shows are on and away .

Wilhekm, where is best to source suppliers from and what tips on paymentment methods would you suggest?

Hi! I don't think so you can find the branded items in China, as we
all know that those famous branded products are produced under OEM. And those factories are fully occuplied with the orders, and
sure are not allowed to sell to anyone no matter how big your orders
are.
Imagine if you were the branded company, will you allow your contracted factory to produce the same items for somebody and hit yourself eventually?
therefore, you may get the high quanity and similar products from China, but not the original ones.
Good luck!

China has been selling "fake goods" forever , you've been buying it in your stores for the longest while and are still doing it .
Only since the internet has it been noticed, because all or most internet base business buys from china to rack up the profits.
I dont feel sorry for all theso called merchants that are"loosing money" they were sticking it to us forever.
Before you could'nt buy anything because everyone had exclusive rights to this and that, now China has allowed you to have a business. Can you buy Branded products without having a store "brick and mortar"Can you i doubt it .
And if you can what do you pay for it enough to amke a profit like the chinese products?? Please! let me know buyer beware do your due dilligence.
Especially on Alibaba once you post they will come weed them out you already know that you cant buy original namebrand products in China did you do your research? probably not.
Cant Blame The Chinese, free enterprise and they are loving it.
[em2][em3]and you are [em6] well suck it up.

No sorry I totally disagree with that, in fact without China you would not get MOBILES COMPUTERS AND VERY MUCH MORE.
Ok China sell more products than any where in The world, and they get away with it.
The fact is as i am typing this we both wasting time complaining :)
If you do look at it the other ways, you will find out you can benefit, by learning how they do business, think use the knowledge to your advantage, just like myself and others.
I did not want to make argument, but life is the way it is.
We took from poor countries and made our own countries [em15]

Now the table turns, life s not equal and for shore not fair, but blame or own family's and governments.
Take care and have a nice day

If you read the complete posting, you see that I do not deny that you can buy all this stuff also in China !

1 With chinese programs, using chinese letters and number and if you or the supplier change it, your guarantee is void !

2 You have to pay for this chinese items in china the same like you pay at your homecountry and sometimes more, if you look at the moment on the dollar conversions the US is a heaven now !

If you are clever, make a search on the different Nokia sites and compare the prices and you will understand this !
