I totally agree that there is no international brand in China, this is a business forum and it is under fraud and security section. Those people who visit this website are buyers and sellers. Mostly sellers who read this forum want to learn from others experience. For those wanting to buy cheaper international brand ( except Chinese Brand ) in China, I say it is very slim chance of getting so and the chances of getting scam is very high. So why take your risk? Why dont you find a good supplier to do your own brand in China instead? That is what the original brand owner is doing. I am sure there are many good manufacturer in China, example, I say those Chinese Brand like LiNing is better than Nike or Reebok, those who has bought LiNing before definitely wont deny this statement. Another example is that all hotels in China are using Chinese brand in their electrical appliances such as TV, hair drier, kettle and etc. If the quality is lousy do you think the Chinese Hotel operator want to use it? It must be more cost effective than those international brands. Wouldnt this statement make sense?
So why take a big risk to earn a little more profit by sourcing international brand in China and not take a bigger step to make your own brand in China instead and make some huge profits. What you got to do is to find a real good manufacturer and station your QC there or engage a 3rd party QC to do so. But be careful whom do you select as you and I know that China is so huge and if there are 10% of bad suppliers the numbers are extremely huge considering they have the largest population. Of course you also need a huge volume to do so but if you do not have huge volume what is the point of souring in China? Try other country in Asia instead. There are lots of those manufacturers in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. For your info labor cost in Vietnam and Indonesia are cheaper than China. It is about the same in Thailand and Malaysia is about 20-30% higher than China. Raw material like steel based are 30% cheaper in China. Labor skill in Singapore and Malaysia are much better than China and scam risks in these countries are very much lower. Do a study before you really go into business in Asia, what is the most important is getting a low risk and good supplier and who is able to work with you in long term and you got to balance up your cost.

Replying to [wilhelm]: True. I have managed to find a few manufacturers who do not put stolen names on their merchandise. Their goods are no better or worse than the counterfitters, probably, but I do not have to deal with the "fake" question when I sell them. I can say it is not a ........, it might look like one, but is made by........ and doesn't have any fake logo on it.
