Chinese authorities

Hi, I've been scammed by a company in China. I have most of / all of their contact details, and if they are a true company should have enough evidence to make a case. However I know nothing of Chinese law, and I have no idea how to find out if they are a real company. I also have no idea how I would report them.
Please could someone help?

Replying to [PaddyClover]:actually Chinese authorities also protect foreign clients, and catch those scammers.
maybe you need to inform local police...I saw one news, one Chinese guy caught by police because of fraud
