Why would it take a company like Fujian One Dragon Motor CO, LTD. 50 Days to get my products ready and have them shipped out to me? The money was wired 50 days ago in full. Every time the Manager Joe Ruan says that the order is ready to be shipped, he then changes the date again. He said that once i wired the money, it would take 10 days to ship out my order. We are now on day 50. Is anyone else having this problem? I am very unhappy, and i am loosing money in my company, because this company has not sent me my orderand my products. An order that was paid in full 50 days ago.

Replying to [Tony R]: This company is for sure a real company, not virtual. When I worked in a China-based US company as a purchaser, I was often frustrated by the delayed shipment. They gave me different reasons for the delay. ........... I understand your situation. Wish you could solve this without losing money. ![[em1]](http://img.alibaba.com/images/eng/style/icon/emoticons_smile.gif)

I guess you are an American Chininese,
what do you mean of "scammer"? You are misleading the buyers' understanding of our Chinese suppliers!
1, They provide the goods only with delivery delay. right? Too naive to identify one man or one factory is a scammer.
2, Do you know the reason exactly for the delay? Absolutly you are just guessing! If you are a real person who is born in China, your mother land is still China. You identify the scammer so quick such like you are not a reliable man.
Then I want to explain the delay of goods.
1. let's analys the process: sample---order---mass good ready---inspection---payment---shipping.
well, see the time below:
Sample:7 days. order:1day,
Producing:30 days, ordinary.
Inspection:-1 day if you have a helper in China; 3 days to appove your shipment sample.
Payment:3 days.
If meet any problem in the procudure, the booking will be delayed.
I have been in a buying agent office for 2 years. follow up the orders. usually, the period of shipping is in 40 days for most first-time cooperated facotries. but 30 days for the older suppliers is no problem. Even less than 20days, tele-release against copy of BL.
That's why some foreign clients want the individual hepler or agent in China. The phoned the factory times to follow up the order and went to the factory to see the producing and check the quality.
Well, I hope that you have solved the problem and had no expense.

Jason Sun you are right that there can be legitimate reasons for delays, the problem is that the supplier in this case has not provided any!!
That is pretty typical of factories in China in my experience and this lack of communication is one of the major obstacles holding most suppliers back.
The facts are the customer has paid for the product and has every right to know in detail where his product is and if there are delays what those delays and why. Also he has the right to know when he will receive his product and the factory should make sure that he does receive it.
I have a pocketfull of a excuses that I could use too, but it doesn't take long for customers to see through the excuses!
Tony, what is the product and what is the quantity? If we are talking about electrical items and small orders of samples then there is a good chance that you may have been scammed. Whatever you do don't send any more money if you get requests for extra shipping payments costs etc.

I just checked their website and agree with Christina. They are not into the sort of electrical products that I was referring to so perhaps you do not need to be so worried about being scammed.
Perhaps it is just the incompentance issue.
I am based in China and would be happy to give them a call and follow up on this for you. If you would like that help then please contact me via the Trade Manager.

What is the quantity you are buying? What was the lead time confirmed to you by the supplier when he sent the proforma invoice to you?
Depending upon the product and quantity production time is decided.
Normally most of the companies required 30 - 45 days to produce the goods plus extra 7 - 10 days to ship the goods to the supplier.
If your order is small then there is a chance that the supplier will take the production along with other order. Supplier will not produce a small portion for you as it will not be cost effective.
If the supplier is honest then he will advice you about the delay (if any) otherwise supplier may advice you that the goods are ready to ship and we will ship them very soon
Once 60 days are over you may get some positive news from your supplier
