Hi I am a Alibaba member, I have been cheated by 4 companies that I obtained in Alibaba, 3 are gold/trustpass members, I have lost almost $10,000.00US, I have lost all of my familes money in less than 1 month my husband can no longer work due to a brain injury so I took our savings to try to start a small business I found these companies in the last 4 weeks and have made purchases from them. I am so disgusted that I as a trusting person finds what I think are trustworthy sellers on the Alibaba website none of them have sent me my products and they do not even attempt to email me back, is there anything that anyone knows on how to contact these companies or what I can do to resolve these fraudulent issues, I refuse to beleive that I am going to loose almost 10,000. from 4 companies all that I choose to purchase from because they were listed as Trust/Gold pass members, I really hope that someone is willing to help me resolve this matter. here are the Alibaba websites for the 4 companies and the amount of money they have stolen.

You have to learn how to spot a scammer from the suppliers. Don't be greed , thinking pan out from brand name products from China.

How could alibaba allow so many scammers listed as "Golden gold/trustpass members" on the website?

You'd better report your case to Alibaba or take legal actions to against rampant frauds in China. You can even report it to US embassy asking help.

Replying to [Lissa]: Not that it does much good now, but for all others: in initial contact with potential supplier ask if payment may be made through www.escrow.com or similar brokerage service. Offer to pay the fee yourself. It's cheap compared to being ripped off. If that's your last email from them you have your answer right up front. Services like this establish a means where a legitimate manufacturer knows the payment is on deposit and only waiting for goods inspection(by you or agent at embarking or arriving port, or other pre-agreed point in the supply chain) before payment is released.If goods are not as promised payment is not released and goods remain in the control of the manufacturer. Replying to [Lissa]:Looks like Putian City is the heaven of scammers and criminals. Everything they sell is

either bogus or fake, but worse, most in Putian city ask for advance payment and then as

soon as they receive the money then suddenly their phone numbers change, their titles and

positions change even the website they were doing business with change. Yet, some of these

so called traders are listed with Alibaba as not just gold member but as Trustpass member.

I am not sure where the reputation of Alibaba goes into picture from this. I have recently

been scammed by and taken my money and no goods were shipped. I like everyone to know and

be careful when they do business with this particular group. The tarders name is:

Please look for these individials' names and those websites and firms when doing business

with them. This is simply a group of thugs and criminals that will take your money and may

not ship any goods or inferior or fake goods to you as they did to me.

I have written to Alibaba a few times. I am yet to hear from them.
