I recently bought 5 Playstation 3's off Hanjiang Shengil Shoes Workshop. I sent them the money through moneybookers and received a pair of trainers in the post 8 days later through EMS. They co-operated up to the day of arrival (which was yesturday) and after complaining they said they would sort it out with EMS. That was yesturday and today they are no where to be seen. Their Alibaba page is http://www.alibaba.com/trade/company/goto/~cgs_2000buy_1?asker=ATC and their independent site is http://www.foease.com/ if anyone could offer me help and advice on getting my money back, or if anyone has had dealing with this company before and could share their experience, that would be great.

What - a SHOE workshop selling Sony Playstation 3 and 5 pcs at that.. I am very very surprised that you brought it from them. A trading company - yes I can understand but a SHOE workshop - I doubt they sell anything using electronics unless you want the flashing light that is put in shoes as high tech electronics..

Odds are 99% - you have being had and is unlikely that you will get anything back. Well you cn try to contact other member like lawyer He to see if he can help.

You got scammed , simple as that. Their excuse now is that ems made a mistake, would you believe that? when you send goods by any courier like ups/fedex/ems then You will need to stick the Shipment form and stick to the package yourself , noone else will do it for you.

So you have yourself to blame for being ignorant and greedy thinking you got a good deal.

Its like going to Burger king and asking for a big Mac.

surely alibaba are just as big a scam as them, if they are willing to allow fake companies to pass their trust pass tests etc just to make a quick buck surely they are scammers too? I thought moneybookers offered some security with the payments, as they had to register a bank account with them to join. After reading the forums it seems like 99% of gold and trustpass members are scammers. How do they get away with it?

1. This is a typical scammer located in Putian, China.
It's hard even for policeman to catch them as you can find no real contact ways on their website.

2. How can you buy electronics from a Shoe shop? You have to ask for yourself again and again.

3. Please be careful next time. It's hopeless to get your money back ...

Replying to [PaddyClover]:Paddy - You're not the only one to have been scammed, so try not to take it too hard, but learn from the experience. It happened to me several times. (Yes, I guess I'm not so good at learning.)

But in response to the harsh comments about being greedy, I wonder what made you go with that company... Perhaps like me, you have been trying hard to find a way of competing on eBay - with the prices falling like stones.

On that score, I feel sure that I know what is going on: The UK price has been forced down by counterfeit product. The fact is, with the distributors of these branded products only giving between 8 and 22% there is little question where these cheap goods are coming from.

Even if you allow for the fact that an overseas market may be cheaper, by the time you add the cost of admin and shipping, the costs should be very similar.

I fear that it's only the dishonest who are making money here. The solution seems to be to compromise on your own morality and trade in counterfeit, to find something different to trade or to trade using a different marketplace.

Don't lose heart.
