I would like to know Where Wing in Ground effect (WIGE), flightship, Aquglide 5 are commercially operate in the world.


Particularly, Aquglide 5 (Ekranoplan from Russia) still operate in Bahamas. what is the name of the company who operates Aquaglide 5 in Bahamas?

I doubt the seaworthiness of Aquglide 5 which is 0.35 meters, It is possible to run in normal sea condition in Southeast asia.

We prefer the Russian term "Ekranoplan" to "Wing-in-ground-effect" or "WIG".  Ekranoplan is a unique term for this type of unique vehicle, while "Wing-in-ground-effect" carries the inference that the wing will inevitably end up in the ground, and WIG has too strong an association with hair loss!
