Shipping from China Why is it so bloody expensive?

Whenever i buy from China, the shipping is more expensive than the item. Is there a cheaper way that anyone knows about?

If you use FedEx or UPS the shipping costs will be astronomical. You can try freight couriers that can ship by sea or air for significantly less. If your shipment is less than 100 KG then air is economical. If you shipment is greater than 100 KG then sea is most economical. Make sure that you verify your shipping company before the process because there are some fraudulent shipping agents floating around China.

Ask your local forwarder to quote you the freight, and make a comparision to the freight quote you got from the Chinese supplier. Go with the one who is cheaper, safer and better serviced.
Most likely, the freight got from Chinese part should be more economic.

There are some special lines for sample expressing,such as America-Asia special line,they are economic and quicik,also you can send by scheduled flight.
For the large freight ,shipping by sea is more suitable

Since i'm from Bosnia, transport from Koper to Sarajevo is about 1200 USD extra, but it is still ok. The best way is to ask your partner from China to organize transport, they know it the best, prices and shipment period.
