This is Horatio from Alibaba.com, responsible for TradeManager development.
Usually people have a need to transfer product photo. MSN and other IMs have limited the size of the file to be transferred. TradeManager does not, which means you can transfer a high pixel product photo to your buyer or supplier.
We now know that within China the file transfer via TradeManager is very fast: I tried yesterday to send a 2M file to my friend, it took less than 5 seconds. I tried MSN, more than 2 minutes.
However, I don't know whether it's the same good worldwide. I need you dear member to help me test.
If it's faster, let all Alibaba members enjoy it; if it's slow, let Alibaba improve it!

Hi Kenz and Bachhu,
First you need to install TradeManager and sign to it. (go to http://trademanager.alibaba.com to download now)
Second, you need to add the person you want to send a file as a contact (If he/she is not yet an Alibaba member, ask him to register and give you his member ID).
Finally, double click the person in your contact list. A dialog box will jump out. Click "Send File" at the top left, you can send a file immediately.
THEN GO TO POST TRADE LEAD AND POST IT THERE, NOT HERE ON MEMBERS DISCUSSIONS!

We've noticed this situation. However, we are not sure whether it's costworthy to develop a version for MAC only.
