Whenever i buy from China, the shipping is more expensive than the item. Is there a cheaper way that anyone knows about?

If so please let me know???

Talking about big container loads is that most people looking for cheap prices do not focus on the freight charges. Freights are high because there are no enought empty containers to cover their export market and ocean freight companies most of the time have bring empty containers from other countries charging twice the amount of the usual freight. Most of the boats are always traveling to china with empty containers to get them back. They cover those cost on the way back. Another thing. Who is going to sell to china ? They have everiything cheaper and sometime better than many countries. That is the reasson of the empty containers tale.

I think door to door service is very expensive
Such as Fedex,UPS,DHL
But if the products is heavy,i think you had better ship it.
If the time is urgent,Pl deliver it by air

Replying to [whitegobDOTcom]:It is because of their Govt policy on exportation.Like in my country Nigeria, our Govt reduced the tax we pay on export products to 1% to encourage exportation of Agricltural products. So the Govt of china can still do something so that export cost can be reduced.

Replying to [whitegobDOTcom]: THE TRUTH- Frankly, China is loosing its glory soon if undetected at the rate is is goin about with high cost for shipping & handling. S&H is the criteria for any buyer & seller so why is it getting so costly? Business in China is manupulated by the locals itself & since sush "complains" is not told "officially" to the MINISTRY OF TRADE & TRANSPORT, you will not see any change or "control" in the freedom of entreprise.

The KEY TO GOODS SHIPPING OUT OF CHINA IS STILL SEA & PLANE CARGO, so if this is not looked into , people will go elsewhere to buy next.
