How successful have been your contact online in finding the suppliers. Have you been more succesful in online or offline sourcing?

I prefer to make online contacts because we can get the details immediately. However, from my experience, even after telling so many offers to you first, many manufacturers will change their words when we give details to quote. Today was my last day to submit a quote and I was waiting to get replies from manufacturers.
Pressurizing them by online contacts and so, I got it finally by this evening. But that too, was not full. The omitted many items from my requirements.

Replying to [balu1234]:I prefer it both ways but online is still fast.All points are taken in writing and prixs are negotiated easily without the accent problm on phone.Like today i had to close a quntty of a T-shirt enquery and it took me two messges only to get through....
