Hello,

I'm just starting my own business and am in the process of getting started. I found my products, a few of them in china, and one in Canada. I did find a nice supplier who wants to help me true the importing part in China. But my problem is the canadian product.
I need to arrange shipment myself, and get it to Holland. The products are not very heavy, but are big.
Can somebody explain me a bit more about possebilities for import/shipment?
Thanks,

Marijke

Contact a local freight fowarder. They should be able to assist you expediting your shipment. Are they using the "Ex-works" incoterm? are you only responsible for the actual shipping cost or is there an addition of packaging, customs, tarriffs, duties, etc?

Do you think you can use courier to send the goods from Canada?

It is door to door service. It is quickly, convenient, and you don't have to pay any taxes or follow any import procedures....although the freight is more expensive than by ship.

But it is big size, maybe you have to send by air...The procedure is also more simple than by ship..

For your reference, I am the agency/helper for several importers,

I help to coordinate, inspect, and transport the goods in China.

If you have any questions, you can also contact me-Jasmine

P.S..I don't push you to take up my service when you don't need..

but i would like to answer your business question if I can..And it is free of charges..
