Why doesn't many china suppliers offer secure payment options

I am looking for any china suppliers of clothing and shoes that offers secure payment options...not western union and not wire transfer.

In China, there are two ways in use - Paypal and Alipay. If you understand Chinese, you can choose it. Yes, it is escrow payment and it is secure.
At the moment, I do not know if there is such payment for international payment.

Replying to [luckyzhang]:paypal or any credit card payment are considered secure or www.escrow.com for larger orders. All of these provide protection on both sides

Replying to [just_me]: Well, I am not 100% sure, but when I have used a wire transfer, I use my Visa credit card because I know at least if I am frauded at least I can dispute the charge and Visa will investigate it.

By sending the wire in the amounts you request, they are fullfilling their obligation and you received what was purchased. If the recipient screws you, you have no recourse. Instead of making assumptions and telling people false information, call your bank and get the facts. =)

Replying to [just_me]:Paypal now only offer security to ebayers as paypal is now owend by ebay, if you use it outside ebay and get scammed, all that person has to do is take the money from the paypal account and this way paypal can do nothing.
Also alipay is only for china at the moment.

LC is a very secure way for international trade, but many supplier in china is not familar with it, so ......pity...lose many chances...
