Sorry to learn your case.

Firstly, please report this scammer to the alibaba service team.

If you have done a little bit research on the internet about Putian, you will find Putian is notorious for scammers. You should be very careful for buying any products from there.

It is a learning curve for newbies buying overseas. Always need to do your own due diligence works before sending payment to someone you knows nothing.

to all of you

thank you for your support

here the last news.

China ambassy said they will not be involved in this case and they are not the right authorities to call, with a sorry we can't help you

now albaba with a nice reply:

Dear Ms. Franca DiGiacomo,

Thanks for your email.

It is disappointing to learn of your recent experience.

Alibaba provides an electronic web-based platform for exchanging information between buyers and suppliers of products and services. Alibaba represents neither the seller nor buyer. As a result, Alibaba does not control and is not liable for the quality, safety, lawfulness or availability of products and/or services offered for sale on the Alibaba website, or the ability of the suppliers to complete a sale, or the ability of buyers to complete a purchase.

When you believe that you have received non-conforming goods from a supplier listed on our web site, it is generally not possible for us to verify that the supplier has engaged in fraud (i.e., that the supplier accepted the order but did not intend to sell conforming goods). In such cases, we encourage you and supplier to resolve your dispute through good faith mediation. If necessary, you can choose to bring a lawsuit against the supplier. If you are able to prove in court that the supplier engaged in fraud, we will suspend or terminate the supplier's account.

If you have any further questions, please visit our Help Center at http://www.alibaba.com/trade/help/helpcenter or contact us at anytime.

Sincerely,

Alibaba.com Service Team

>> " absence of structure of a crime ".

>> It is necessary to think up a way to force local Chinese police to

>> investigate these crimes.

I even proposed to certain company to deal with

Franca,

You have a very true but cynical reply.

It is true that there're lots of scammers on this website, but not all Chinese suppliers are bad.

If you have learned the skills on how to spot the good or bad suppliers, you will find how amazing to make money by selling Chinese products.

Sometimes, finding a professional sourcing agent in China will help you a lot.

I also inquired about them earlier, and considered ordering from them, but not now. Sorry for your loss, and thanks for reporting them. How are you tracing them and reporting them to which police, USA or CHINESE police?
