I'm currently dealing with a supplier who accepted to use escrow but escrow.com won't allow me to pay through credit card because i'm buying electronics.

So I'm left with the options of paying through Check or sending a wire transfer. Sending a signed check accross the country seems a bit risky and my bank is charging me a large sum for the wire transfer.

Now I've heard and found some third party companies that handle wire transfer for a cheaper than my bank like currencysource.com, but don't know if they are really safe, has anyone delt with any of these third party companies before?

It's hardly good commercial sense to lose the superior advantage of Escrow which your supplier offered.

Isn't there a way to deposit your cash with the escrow service rather than transferring cash in advance to the supplier?

Replying to [Aussie]:I apologize I don't think I made myself clear. what I'm trying to do is use a third part wire transfer to pay escrow.com I just want to know if those services are safe.
