Count me in as well.
I was contacted by a woman named Cathy who wanted to place a decent sized order with me of silk shawls. My shawls are quite expensive and I was surprised that she should want to buy from me as China has so much inexpensive labor and good silk.
Anyway, I sent her a quotation and told her the cost for the sample. I said I would cover the shipping but that she had to pay for the sample.
Here's what she wrote:

Thank you for your quotation.
Firstly as for the sample,my company does not pay for its fee and freight ,but we offer the fee of testing .You know we are buyer so when we get your sample we have to take it to the quality testing department to have test.The costing we pay is double than yours.
About the design of the shawls ,if possible to have some tradtional picture on it ?May I know how mang basic color you have can serve to us. Please attention we are not urgent ,so we have to put the quality on the first place.
The payment when i receive your sample i will send our company's purchase contact .You know we want a longterm relationship between us.The more favorable quotation will needed.
The attach you will find several picture.Hope to heared from you soon.

So what exactly does "Testing a Shawl" entail? Will they throw it out of a window of a tall building to see if it breaks? Run over it with a truck? Give it to a three year old?
I got suspiscious and I'm glad I Googled them because I landed on this forum. I'm a member here and each day I realize that there are so many who are disreputable and keen on wasting people's time.
I will not send her a sample, I'd be a fool if I did. I, like everyone else, need the business but it's not worth taking a chance.
I'm going to write her and send the link to this thread.

I googled their details and like many others found this forum - I have an alibaba.com business profile, so I am assuming this is how they got my web address.
I sell a variety of products in the UK - our profits fund a free environmental advice service for community and voluntary groups and scams such as this simply waste our already limited resources.
All scams have one thing in common - they rely on people becoming greedy - the way I see it, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is...
This is the email I received;
"Dear Sir/Madam,
How are you and good business to you. Today I am very happy to see your fine products on the website. We are very interested in your products. We will have large and steady demands for high quality products like yours here. All the time our minimum order is above 500,000 dollars. Would you like to send your products' catalog, price list and website. If you send samples to us, it is great helpful to both of us. Please contact me by the following e-mail.
