Are the moderators rich?
Post 1 of 46
Just out if interest are any of you moderators well off. You all seem to have good knowledge and experience, surely with all this business wisdom you know what sells/what doesn't/where to sell/who to/how, which surely would mean you all have a sizeable sum in the ****? [em3]

Replying to [jonik]: [em2] interesting. Yes i must admit if you guys were rich im sure you would be sipping margarita on a carrabean island rather then watching over this forum. Then again there is the saying that good business men never discuss how much money they are worth !

Aussie, you are a inspiring person, you have good quality of eloquence, you have an optimistic atitude toward life. After reading your words, I nearly believe that our China has become a Paradise. I admire these great qualities.
But I don't agree with your atitude toward money. You don't attach much importance to money. I turn up my nose at the person who holds this philosophy. It will be difficult for this kind of person to become rich.
And China gain its achievement not by this philosophy. The person who respect money, who are eager to make money, propel the wheels of China. Without this kind of Chinese, China will still remain in the era of Mao Zedong.
Without money, can you eat outside in a comfortable restaurant? Without money, can you eat the real stuff of Chicken. There are so many people like it, but the good product supplied is limited. Don't tell me you have no dedire to own a car in China, just because some bikes and pedestrians whiz by when you are waiting in your car. Have you the experience of standing in a bus for an hour to go home after work? Why the persons have waited like you don't throw their car away, are they fools?
If I give you a million dollar, will you be pleased to accept it? If you are not an *, I am definitely sure you will feel happy enough to jump to accept it. You are just lazy enough not to make it, or you are just talentless enough not able to make it.
Am I correct?
