Margreeth, are you looking for buyers agents, selling agents, or sourcing agents?  Do you have your own company looking to export or import goods?  Are you looking to start your own product line?  What ever your choice or direction is I can tell you this, a buyers agent and a sourcing agent has a direct contract with you and will charge a commision based upon the amount of the contract.  These agents must have product liability insurance at least up to the amount of the purchase.  To do otherwise would put you at risk.  A selling agent works directly for the company and earns his commision thru the company he is selling for.  You might try posting a trade lead dependin upon if your in the market to sell or buy.  You can however start right in the Netherlands most sourcing companies offer both services.  Sourcing, and buying agents.   If your looking for a buyers agent within China I would suggest that you contact the people at www.cbsteam.net they have a broad spectrum of resources.
