Ranger, you do darn good deeds. The world would be a better place if there were more like you.
Okay, now having polished your boots, how about ...
Electric 4 plate stove / oven, modern ceramic top (the usual sort in western homes)?
I need a stack of the darn things, but can't find any manufacturer in China.

PS: Other than HAIER of course ... I need for Haier's retail competitors.

Replying to [Ranger]:Sounds great, but what about us newbies in Oz? We'd love to have a mentor or someone point us in the right direction when we need a little guidance.![[em4]](http://img.alibaba.com/images/eng/style/icon/emoticons_sad.gif)
Ozzy, this is geared towards any individual in the forum old or new. Mostly its to break down the language barriers and understanding the trade laws in everyones home country with respect to importing, exporting. Here's an example of what I mean. Your a buyer in Australia but your supplier is in India. Even though your supplier speaks english there may still be something you do not understand in how he is saying it. You would then e-mail me and I would partner you with someone who readily speaks english but is an exporter or importer in India. This gets you past the language barrier in India, but lets now suppose you have questions about duties on your goods coming into Australia. You e-mail me again and ask for help. Well then I would connect you with someone in Australia to help you clear up your question. You import your goods and you have a great expirience!!!! But heres the other great thing you have just made 2 additional contacts on Alibaba. Are you not going to be inclined when another member posts a question to say well I know this supplier that helped me do a deal in India, or Australia and this is what they sell or import. This idea is about helping others and thru goodwill forming a tighter more loyal community to ourselves and everyone that participates. Believe me if suppliers and buyers see this grow everyone will want to get involved or be left behind while others grow, suppliers and buyers alike. Is it an uphill battle to get people involved? Yea, it is but anything worth doing is worth doing right. In the coming months you will see some new changes with regards to the forums that will be available. Why not pre-start a forum within a forum.Ranger

If one cannot articulate clearly in a transaction, it can easily be misinterpreted as lack of knowledge (product, service, industry etc), inexperience and/or dishonesty. I totally agree with your comment on forming a tighter and more loyal community through goodwill. I believe I have made the first step in this direction even though I am a newbie. I have made contacts via this forum and have recommended contacts to others, all based on trust. It was good to get positive feedback, there is a posting on TonyInspection you may have seen recently. We are all seeking guidance, information, contacts etc. If we have the time to post & read posts, then we should take the time to respond in a manner that encourages networking in a postive way.
Then and only then, can we develop the community you describe.
