AliPay.com doesn't seem to provide ENGLISH page. I just visit the website and searching for ENGLISH but can't find them.

TRUSTED and GOLD ALIBABA SUPPLIER don't mean anything to me ( I am a buyer). I had some bad business exp with them. They offered bad products quality and didn't want to take any responsibility. Most of them with whom I had made business with, are now not active anymore and their websites don't even exist anymore. I try to email the contact person of that company and he replied that the company met serious financial problems and he is no longer working for that company.

I am still searching for prospective suppliers from alibaba but before doing any order I will take some time and money to go over to their place and see for myself. I won't take any GOLD SUPPLIER or TRUSTP *. They are all the same. I think cheaters or bad suppliers can afford to pay some small $$$ to cheat big money.

I have shared many successes via alibaba. However, I am posting today to report a fraud with 2 alibaba members. Please avoid there business. They should be removed immediately before any other business or company becomes a victim. I will be happy to post follow ups to any questions regarding these companies.

Please note that each company has provided a tracking number with a tracking number that cannot be verified

with the shipping company. Each shipping company cannot be contacted via phone or email. Thus they may

not be real companies, but fake web businesses with web pages as well.

All business with Lagos Nigeria should not be conducted or you will be SCAMMED.

What I do to protect against dodgy buyers is to first find out if they are a really person or not. If you don;t mind a extra cost on phone bill, try to phone them, or else, just ask them for courier details and I am sure 90 % of them will not reture your a single e-mail.

And if they do reply with the agreement of freight collect, well then, I must congratulate you.

I do agree with you about the Nigerian traders online.

There have been many inquiries from them that I have received, and most of them are not even having a valid phone numer.

Be careful everyone.

It is most unfortunate that some bad eggs from my country have made most net preneurs brand all Nigerians as criminals. Well, in as much as we are genuinely upset by these experiences, I boldly say that there are more honest Nigerians than there dishonest ones.

The foreigners living and doing business can attest to this. However, Mr Frank USA Male described why people fall for these scams accurately. Small and Big importers and exporters must be serious about their business. They must not be greedy. Most victims of scam are either naive, lazy to conduct due diligence or plain greedy.

To combat this, any huge offer must be investigated.

The exporter must never pay for any requst for opening of account by the importer.

The embassies or chambers of commerce could be contacted to verify the name ,address and phone no of the importer or exporter.

Any request for advance fee should be ignored.

All traders must deal with small orders before huge one to enable them build trust.

The action of scammers does not mean that only those using the free listing of alibaba are the criminals. A dishonest person is a dishonest person. Not all Nigerians are criminals.

Thanks

I've been recieving mails from Africa, Uk and Turkey about illegal business offer such as;

Help me open WELL FARGO CHECKING ACCOUNT, and i'll give you percentage.

I have $50 million and i need you to help me collect it from my BANK OF AFRICA,

I'm pastor john, please send us $$$ to help feed the homeless

If you have recieved any offer such as this or anything related please becareful of this people.   This people are heartless and they a ready to use whatever they have to fraud you.

Please never share your personal information such as; social security, date of birth, age, don't send your picture and your international passport. because they'll sell it to someone else that will claim your identity.

Remember they don't work alone, they have partners all over the world.

Advice! when been contacted from a company that is from Nigeria, always check  dailing codes and the state the buyer claim as a place of business.

Nigeria Do NOT  have zip codes, so always be aware of that.

I was recently contacted from someone who lives in USA, but have African dailing code as his phone number. I also made him believed that I was ready to deal as long as I see what he looks like. The fool sent me the picture that he took infront of his house and I could tell that Africans don't build and design their house like the ones we have here in USA.

I treatened  to show his pics to the FBI, that is when he wrote back that his sorry and his friends put him up too it.

Bobo,

It is very unfortunate that your country, Nigeria has become a bashing ground for people who want to smear the entire country  and its people just because  few bad apples are trying to take advantage of others. I happen to know several Nigerians that  are hard working and honest business men and women. The did of few opportunists should not be used  to label the entire country and its people as scammers and criminals. I think more Nigerians like you have to come out and confront those who bash the country and prove that every scammer in the world is not a Nigerian and that almost all Nigerians are good people.

Good Luck!
