Like anyone it is not the preffered payment method that matters it is making the sale and getting paid.

I accept almost every payment method possible and I do it safely without one single loss to theft or fraud.

You can accept almost any payment method when you apply basic rules of good safe practices of business.

There really are no secrets to being safe collecting payments just basic safety rules.

Hi all.
I am reletivly new to this type of tranaction.  Most of the companies I have been speaking with have only allowed me to pay by western union, and some have suggested i make the payment in someone elses name.  Is this usual?

Do not and never use Western Union as your payment or pay to soneone else name. They might tell you send by WU and hide the control number so they can not cash the payment after you received the products and released the control number to them. Actually, they only need the ID with name match to cash your payment.

For sellers, the 100% T/T in advance  is the best payment method. For buyers 100% T/T after receiving the goods is the best payment method.

Clearly, the seller runs certain risks of non-payment if he surrenders goods before payment has been made.  The buyers also take certain risks of not getting the goods after paying for the goods.

So the sellers and buyers often agree to using the most generally used method of payment ( letter of credit).

To honesty with my customers I would like to use the 100% T/T in advance for small amount and use the L/C for large amount.

I don't use D/P and D/A as my paymnet method for international business.

Hello everyone.

I am somewhat skepitcal when it comes to doing business with firms overseas or really anywhere which I have not dealt with before, especially when the cost on my end is somewhere between $500,000 and $750,000 and they want half now and the rest before shipment is made.  I have asked for transactions to be made throughwww.escrow.combut I have yet found a supplier to do this.  I suppose it is best to deal with Gold Supplier's only but I need feedback and some trustworthy names of supplier's  from some of you who have done business with these firm's.

Thank you,

Tom
