Unorganised Sector In India
A large number of articles are reserved for small scale and tiny sectors by Govt Of India. Since these units are excempt in most cases from Sales tax /Excise applications, there data is never known in exact terms.Spices, tea, coffee, Watch Straps, Handloom Fabrics, footwear, etc are a few sectors where they sell much more than organised sector.
Some industrials like Fans, Water Pumps, Electrical appliances, Candles etc are also produced in bulk quantities.
Their quality does not match in service and other criteria with organised sector, but they ate still a good value for money.
