Difference between Sale & Marketing
Dear Friends
I think to do better business one should recognise the difference between Sales and Marketing.
Sales --> It is only selling the products. Only target is to sell more and finding techniques to sell more and profitable deals. Mostly, when refer to sale people only think about short term profits.
Marketing --> It is advance version of sale. It is when sale is done through in a planned way keeping link between all department of company and customer on your mind.
The first and formost requirement of your marketing is to identify your targert customers and where need and difrentiate it with their wants. Than again identifying the goal of the company.
Then you should find a way by which you can give best value to customer by satisfying their need and fulfiling goals of the company at the same time.
You get yourself associated with all department i.e. paroduction, account, HR etc and head the company to success linking the company in one chain.
You give direciton to company where to head.

Integrated marketing - Better Approach
Dear Friends
I have seen that most of the marketing people even who are successful do a unplanned marketing.
That is some times there is load of orders and other time manufacturing is running at half rate due to dearth of orders.
Also they do not keep company update about future expectation of order.
This brings in a surprise facture for company and they are many times unprepared. Also, this lead to sometimes dropping of order due to over burden or reducing quality to fasten the production.
Also, to combat this company has to keep stocks and this hurt them financially. Also, they have to some times go for costlier options.
I think id marketing peopler properly sinchronice with the company they can generate better results with more satisfied custumer, smoother running of company and better use of market opportunities.
Also they should lead the way to future developement of product and manufacturing facility so that the optimum investment can be done.
