The fee charged by Alibaba to be a Gold Supplier is in no way cheap. As a publicly listed company I feel they should offer a more comprehensive protection system for both buyers and suppliers alike.
Member should not need to question the validity of an enquiry or supplier. If problem do arise from using the system i feel that at the very least Alibaba should bare some responsibility. Why does Alibaba dis-courage members from posting companies and names of scammers.
Alibaba should provide a Blacklist of known scammers. Members should not have to undertake such a tideous task. This service should be provided by Alibaba. I want to setup a blacklist forum of buyer/suppliers who are known scammer but i am having difficulties getting it up.
I understand from Alibaba's point of view they can not criticize the gold supplier as it is their revenue stream. However, if no actions are taken, legitimate business and buyer will avoid using Alibaba.
I am pondering on setting up a site of my own to deal with such issues when i get some free time, so feel free to send your scammer list.
