Alibaba.com and Yorktrade Team Up to Bring Foreign Trade and E-commerce Education to Turkey SMEs
Alibaba.com has designated the Yorktrade Institute as our official education partner in Turkey!
Under this arrangement, our two companies will join forces to develop and market a new series of educational courses that offer a comprehensive overview on international trade and e-commerce.
What topics are in the e-commerce course
The Yorktrade Institute courses cover a wide range of topics that include international marketing, payment methods, insurance and logistics, contracts and arbitration, and Turkey government subsidies support. In addition, the courses look in-depth at e-commerce trading best practices, and teach companies to setup virtual storefronts, adapt their products for the online marketplace, and efficiently develop business relations with buyers and sellers on the Internet.
Who should attend
The e-commerce courses are available to both individual and corporate participants. Whether you are an entrepreneur looking to start a new business, an SME manufacturer looking to sell overseas for the first time, or a trading company looking to expand your sales channels, these courses have something for everyone!

About Yorktrade
Yorktrade Institute is a private training school for international trade and e-foreign trade, with branches located in Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa, and a new one soon to be opened in Ankara, capital of Turkey.
The mission of Yorktrade Institute is to provide their students with the necessary skills and knowledge to practice international trade across a broad area of expertise -- whether for themselves, their companies, or on behalf of clients to whom they advise and consult for.
With over 15,000 graduates since its establishment in 2000, the Yorktrade Institute brings together a growing social capital and alumni network that includes manufacturers, distributors, trade companies, agencies, export management companies and brokers across all of Turkey. In addition, they have established the Yorktrade Business Club (YBC) in 2005, and the Yorktrade International Trade Department in 2008, in order to further deliver international trade opportunities to its alumni and affiliate network.
In July 2009, Yorktrade became the first private school in Turkey to be accredited by IGEME, the Export Promotion Center of the Undersecretariat of Turkish Prime Ministry for the Foreign Trade.
